Josie Whitehead’s Poems
by Josie Whitehead
One million feet are pattering Upon my window pane. One million tiny drops announce The arrival of the rain.
One million feet come clattering On dark streets, cold and bare, One million drops will splatter on The cold and blustery air.
One million feet are scattering One million drops of rain One million wet drops offering Life to the world again.
