I eventually transferred from the Birmingham area to the Swindon area in December 1976 working initially at W.H Smiths Greenbridge on their 2970 and 2960s, then later became responsible for Woolworth's 1904 & House of Fraser's Dual 2960

Derek Horner - was ICL regional support - took over as DP manager after Tony May left

Grahame Clark - my boss at HOF

Paul Gibson - HOF later still became my boss - went to Harrods eventually

Harry Nicholls - HOF operator - managed to lose essential HOF tapes at WHS - left to go back to Barbados

Scott Jordan ICL House of Fraser left to go to WH Smith then started his own company.

Steve Opalka ICL Project Manager House of Fraser - came to England at the time of the Hungarian revolution - was at university in Hungary - got a job in UK as a textile workers mate - then went back to university and went on from there to ICL. Learnt English by writing everything down in a notebook to build his vocabulary - must have learnt some choice phrases

WHS 2960 which ran DME System 4 overnight for House of Fraser and DME George III for WHS during part of the day
