Who’s taken the biscuits and gobbled the chocs?

Put mud on the floor, or worn holes in his socks?

Who has splashed water all over the floor?

Gone out of the house and left open the door?

Well, I am the one with crumbs on my clothes –

With my wellies still on, and chocolate on nose.

I am the one who was last in the bath -

The one who was seen as I ran down the path.

Yes, I’ll hold up my hand and admit that it’s I

But, though try as I will, I really must sigh –

For when I am awakened by a noise through my door

It’s their very loud, earthshaking, deafening SNORE.
