When the sun comes out, then the rain goes in.

Oh, it’s April, don’t you know?

The cold wind blows with a cheeky grin –

As the seedlings strive to grow.

The rain pours down, and the sunshine hides,

It’s a real April game for sure.

Then the wind comes back when the sun’s inside

                  Yes, the weather’s so unsure.

It’s two steps forwards, then one step back

Hot sun, then a wind that’s cool –

Now the rain comes forward to attack

Whilst we look like April fools.
