                Child of the summer sun,

                  Running free with the wind in your face;

                Feet touching the sand which tickles your feet,

                  Reaching out for the world's embrace.

                Child of the summer sun -

                  The sun's warm rays touching your cheek;

                There's a world of new life stretching far out ahead.

                  Whilst the cool summer sea's at your feet.

                Child of the summer sun -

                  With a lifetime of work yet to come;

                Cling on to your childhood as long as you can -

                  For your life has just only begun.
