The Tyrannosaurus, Allosaurus and Ankylosaurus too

Decided, many years ago, they’d create a majestic zoo.

Said the Tyrannosaurus cheerily: “Come here and see my cage!”

Once inside, he locked it, which caused them lots of rage.

“Calm down my friends, and listen: “I’ll tell you exactly what I’ll do.

“We’ll have a special party and I’ll cook some tasty stew”.

He chopped them into pieces, then they were cooked with loving care.

The Tyrannosaurus had to eat alone – do you think that this was fair?

My poem is just a little joke poem, as I think you will know, because there is a lot of speculation

as to how the dinosaurs actually died out.

There is a lot of information that you can get from the internet these days, and here are some useful websites:

                THE ALLOSAURUS

One of the largest Jurassic CARNOSAURS of North America. An average Allosaurus weighed

about 4 tons (3.6 metric tons) and measured 35 feet (10.5 m) from the tip of its nose to the end of its tail.

The largest known was 45 feet (13.5 m) long. When Allosaurus stood upright, it was 16.5 feet (5 m) tall.

                THE TYRANNOSAURUS

Almost everything about this dinosaur -- the four-foot-long jaw, the six-inch-long teeth, and the huge

thigh bones -- bespeaks the enormous power of Tyrannosaurus Rex, one of the largest theropod

(or meat-eating) dinosaurs that ever existed.
