                I have a friend whose name is Billy

                And we all think he's really silly;

                  He doesn't work and acts the fool

                  And really wastes his time at school.

                Another friend whose name is Lynn

                Is very small and very slim.

                  She wears blue jeans and pink tee-shirts -

                  I never see her wearing skirts.

                I have a friend whose name is Paul

                That's right, you've guessed, he's very tall

                  And Paul can play the violin,

                  But it's hardly that which keeps him slim!

                Another friend is good at sport -

                (And yet it's strange, he's very short).

                  He's loads and loads of energy

                  And oh so thin as thin can be!

                These school friends play with me each day

                We love to run and jump and play.

                  We're such a mix, but such good friends -

                  We're sorry when the schoolday ends.
