                My little dog's called Gemma;

                  She's very small and white.

She loves to rush out barking

When there's a cat in sight.

                She chases little rabbits

                  And also squirrels too,

But what would little Gemma do

If I took her to the zoo?

She'd look with fright at tiger

And might think it was a cat,

But if he came towards her

She'd not stay for a chat.

She'd be frightened of a rhino

                  And also of a bear.

Some little creatures she would love

                  And wouldn't have a care.

                The monkeys would be funny

And she'd want to stay and play,

But my watch tells us it's getting late-

                  We'll be back another day.

                My little dog called Gemma

Would go to bed and dream

Of all the strange new creatures

That at the zoo she'd seen.
