For the beauty of God's earth
Each brand new day he gives it birth.
Warming sun and gentle rain,
All we need to grow our grain.
God we offer you our praise
Hearts and hands and voices raised.
Lovely Wharfedale says it all,
Hills and dales and dry stone walls,
Bluebell woods and streams so clear -
Birdsong which we love to hear.

Hearts and hands and voices raised.
For people in our world we pray,
Those who care for us each day.
For those who live their lives in fear,
May they know your presence near.
Father unto you we pray,
Protect your children every day.
Thanks for our church wherein we meet,
With friendly smiles that always greet.
Christian thoughts to carry home,
With you dear God, we're not alone.
