POETRY FOR EVERYONE, BUT ESPECIALLY CHILDREN

WELCOME

These poems, all my own work, were written to bring a feeling of happiness to those who read them. I hope that the beauty of the natural world, and my love of Yorkshire will shine through, together with the fun I have had writing the children’s poems (many of which I hope will also be enjoyed by the adults reading them to their children, grandchildren, children in their classes, or little friends etc.) I have tried to give most of my poems a good story, a good rhythm and a rhyme because that is the type of poem I always enjoyed (and still do) myself.
