How pleasant to meet Percy Bacon
Whose skin is as pink as a pig
And unless I am very mistaken
His ears are a little bit big.
His squinty black eyes are so tiny,
Yet his vision is perfectly clear.
His snout (sorry nose) is quite shiny –
But his feet look decidedly queer.
Percy’s misunderstood by so many,
For he’s clever and rather sedate.
But I’ll bet you a pound to a penny,
He’ll end up on somebody’s plate.
