Willie was happy – his dreams had come true

With the children he had such a good life –

But mice are not happy just living alone

So the children bought Willie a wife.

So sweet Millie Mouse moved into his world –

They played on the wheel and did tricks.

The children, one day, had a big shock in store

When two mice soon turned into six.

Four babies were born – Millie mouse was so proud –

And she cuddled them down in her nest.

A strange thing took place when the mice grew their fur

Two were brown and two white like the rest.

Willie knew why – he remembered the paint –

He was born just a little brown mouse.

But whatever their colour each mouse was loved

And had a really fun-time in their house.

Like all human beings we really should learn-

That whatever our size or our shade,

Each one of God’s creatures deserves all our love

For we all share the world He has made.
