One day I found a monster

                  Who’d arrived from outer space.

Its tail was long and spikey

And it had such an ugly face.

                I didn’t want to know it –

Yet it followed me to school

But what it did to others

                  Was really rather cruel.

                He turned Lauren into pizza,

                    Jacob went in his stew.

He ate Adam just the way he was

                   Lucy he couldn’t chew.

He put Joshua in an omlette –

Then he drank a cup of tea.

Michael was just a little snack –

And then he looked at ME! – Help!

Hannah was too sweet for him

He liked Matthew on his toast –

                Andrew gave him flatulence

                  Although he enjoyed him most.

He thought Abigail was yucky -

So he spat her on the floor -

She thought she was the lucky one

And dashed out through the door.

                This gave him indigestion though.

Ooooh! He rolled around in pain

So he took back off to outer space

Or perhaps he went to Spain.
