Mankind’s like a boat on the cruel ocean of life – Tossed by the winds in tempests and strife. Seeking a refuge, a safe harbour of love – Watching the dark clouds that hover above.
Man’s like a boat, that is tossed on life’s sea – Straining and churning, but not always free. The horizon’s before him, waves beat on his hull, Whilst high up above him comes the cry of a gull.
The line of horizon – what hopes does it hold? – What dreams and achievements will the future unfold? Man’s like a boat that is tossed in the rough sea – Unlike a boat he makes his own destiny.
