                Spirits of the Seasons move

                  Undisturbed o'er all this world.

                Spirits of the Seasons prove

Your influence as the year unfurls.

Oh Spirit Spring with youth and brightness,

We'll always want to welcome you.

The tired world wakes to sunshine's lightness

See through your window, Heaven's blue.

Oh Spirit Summer bring your warmth

To swell the living, growing corn.

Please lengthen all the growing days

With sunrays that are bright and warm.

Oh Spirit Autumn, proud and fiery,

                  Walk upon this dying land,

From chimney tops see smoke so spiry

                  Chasing golden hues so grand.

                Spirit Winter, wild and raging,

Bring sleep to all the growing things,

Guide us along your path unchanging

Until we hear the bells of Spring.
