The love and the smile from somebody’s face.

The joy of the warmth in a loving embrace,

  These feelings last for so many days

  They fill up your heart and set it ablaze.

Love is infectious, it grows and it grows –

Hatred’s the same as everyone knows.

  You feel really good when you know you’re adored –

  Your heart breaks in two when you’re simply ignored. 

Is it worth causing tears or emotional pain? –

When you’re mean and show hate, what on earth do you gain?

   Inner happiness comes when your conscience is clear –

   Not hurting the people who’ve loved you most dear.

With love, it’s so strange, for the more you give out

The more you get back, of this there’s no doubt.

  But there’s one thing for certain in the world of attack –

  What you give out to others will surely come back.
