The brightness of yellow brings happiness and peace. It’s the colour of canaries, of lemons, of cheese. It can be associated also with cowardice and fear – But I always feel good when yellow is near.
We’re told the lover of yellow is optimistic in life – Preferring laughter and love to conflict and strife. It’s the symbol of new life – and of intellect too – And whilst you think of what else, I’ll wish you adieu.

Wildlife: Cowslips
Bees love to suck the nectar from these flowers . Cowslip is the food plant for the Duke of Burgundy's Fritillary butterfly. The caterpillars eat the leaves . Shakespeare used the cowslip in “The Tempest”. Act 5 scene 1 “Where the bee sucks there suck I. In a cowslips bell I lie”
Yellow Journalism (American) writing in newspapers that tries to get people's attention or influence their opinions by using strong language or false information. The paper is practising yellow journalism at its worst with its scandalous stories about the Governor and his family.
Yellow-bellied (old-fashioned) a yellow-bellied person is not at all brave. You're a load of yellow-bellied fools, too frightened to stand up for what you believe in!
